Hi Bro
i sent my radflo 2.5 coilovers to Radflo they called me back saying that was very rare that i am running 700lbs coilsprings
so they ask me to change them for 600lbs i sayed yes
then when they came back i added a 2 inch spacer and let the preload with less than an inch...... problem ??? the shocks was closing completly
okkkkk called radflo the told me the need preload....... ok take the spacer out put back the shock as it is
the give him 2 inch of preload
the truck ride very cool and soft im running prg mid travel kit (4wd)

i recomend at least 650lbs oooorrrrrrrrr 700 lbs put the spacer on top and win height from the spacer not from the preload

good luck bro

i had 650 on my old radflos and it was not a good ride, 700lb is the way to go, are you still running the tundra coilovers?

I get a lot of side to side roll with 650 lbs. coils, (and that's with the swaybar attached), so I'm thinking of going to a 700 lbs. coil, or getting them re-valved.

Thanks for the advice, I will get 700 lbs rate springs. I'm going to try out some F-O-A coilovers, should get them on Friday, I'm also going to try out the NCD mid travel (if you want to call it that) setup. I have the shock towers and I made new shock mounts on the lca's.

600 lbs sounds light to me...I'm running 650's and they work fine for me....

I never found anyone on the forums that has run the NCD mid travel kit. The kit from NCD wasn't really worth the price they were asking. Is there anyone out there that has run this kit ? What's everyone's opinion on how this kit will ride ?

I had 600lbs springs on my truck for a while, the only reason they worked for me was because of the way i had them mounted on the LCA, the further towards the tire you mount the LCA, the stiffer the ride gets, so you have to go to a lighter spring. The further you mount the shock towards the center of the truck, the softer the ride gets, so you have to run a heavier spring.

I had played around with shock placement dozens of times on my truck... too many... but now im running 700lbs and it is perfect.

As for the NCD kit, i know of one guy running their LT kit, hes never said if its good/bad/worse/great etc, but from what ive read from other people, the geometry has always been off, you cant pull the numbers that they are claiming, etc etc etc... You might as well be better off buying the Camburg kit if your into burning money.

Does the geometry change that much when you move the lower shock mount a couple of inches.
Yes it can...you will need less spring as you move the lower shock attachment closer to the wheel...you photo does show an issue...are going to run long shocks?...because simply bolting the shock in the picture to that mount is going to drop the front end of your truck...

i know a guy who use to have the NCD MT kit, he literally threw it in the trash after a few months, said it was crap and would feel bad selling it to someone.

I would be pissed if I spent 2300 bucks on that kit. But I got the shock towers off a member for 50 bucks, I made the lower shock mount, so if it does suck than I'm not out a lot of money. Cut the mount off and start saving for DK MT kit. But I got to try it myself to see how bad it is, hard to believe it will be worse than stock.

Got the new coilovers today, got them charged with nitrogen at ORW, but not sure what springs to run. Blue are fabtech springs, the black are viper springs. I'm Going to install them tomorrow night.

I got the driver's side done, it was a pain in the a$$. Still need to do some finishing touches, need to mount the shock resivoir. And the spindle is way to close to the spring, it actually hits at full droop. I should get the otherside done tomorrow, and can't wait to test drive.
