When I had OEM headlight housings shipped to him it was a California address.

 

He lives in California. Escondido, Ca 92026 to be exact.

Joe no longer has a cell phone. He works like a normal person and deserves to have weekends off. Retrofits take time because parts go on back order. He's a good guy just has a ton going on and he's a one man show. I'm sure he will get back to anyone that needs him as soon as he has a free minute.

 

Well, some of these people have forked over their hard earned money for him to provide a service. Barring him being in a hospital or jail, he should keep his clients informed. A simple email is all it takes.

I simply wanted to check on his status in case anyone on the forums knew him personally/locally or might know why communication stopped. Joe had been communicating very well with me last year until recently when e-mail responses stopped which prompted my concern. I didn't intend to bring any negativity into the thread toward him, just trying to figure out what his status might be.

I know he may be very busy and I'm not trying to push him to finish my retrofit, actually, it is quiet the opposite as I'm trying to get mine stopped/canceled and get my parts shipped back to me... That is unless someone wants to buy mine when completed as originally ordered since I've already paid the retrofit service fee...

 

I sent him another e-mail with a different subject line just in case my others were ending up in a junk folder or something.

Have you guys changed your lights since you gave them to him? Did you give him a complete list of products you wanted to use in your lights before you sent them to him?

Did you pay him via paypal? I know he has had some issues with them releasing funds. If they dont release funds, he doesnt have the funds to purchase the products to use in your lights.

 

No offense, but you're not actually contributing to this thread since you are only telling us things we know; none of which would explain or answer the original topic.

I'm assuming you're not his official representative, but I'll entertain your questions anyhow:

- I haven't changed anything, actually I'm just trying to cancel mine (which he knows).
- Yes, he has all my parts which is what I'm trying to get back from him since some parts are costly (S2000 AP1 Projectors for example); or even get the completed retrofit, either way would be fine with me.
- Yes, I did pay with PayPal, but that was on Oct 13, 2013 of which he never mentioned any issue of payment last month when I last heard from him so that isn't the issue.

 

Is this guy the one that owns Cali retrofits? Because I might be in trouble too about my headlights

 

I'm pretty sure that is the name that was printed on the top of my invoice.

Funny how he always talked sh!t about JB about taking a lil to long with orders.

He did mine a year ago..I had to mail them back a week after I got them due to the LEDS not working and a ton of moisture in both lights..so when they went back I wanted a full retro done..

Yikes, that's never good. Hope all is well, an email is just common courtesy. No one is literally too busy to not respond to an email.

 

Don't know if this is someone from this thread, but someone posted on his fb page that they are seeking legal guidance because he took 1500 dollars and has yet to provide them with a product after 6 months. This was posted mid April...
