I've tried to search on how to take the arm rest off and I found a schematic for removing the whole door panel...but does anyone know how the arm rest comes off? I feel like I am going to break something when lifting it up. Is it velcroed or clipped in there? Thanks fr your help.

It is really simple actually. Insert a flat bladed screw driver under the edge (I would put some tape on the blade) and pry it up. Once you get it started, the rest of it will pop off pretty easy. The clips that hold it in place are huge wedge shaped pieces of plastic with clips on them for pressure. I have taken both of mine off recently to do some wiring.

Another thing you are going to have to remove is the off color trim piece that you grab to pull the door closed. There are screws under there also.

There is also another screw under the handle. There is a small piece of plastic that looks like a door that you have to remove to get to it.

If I remember correctly, there are 5 or 6 screws on the drivers door and 1 less on the passenger one.

Pop off the cap, 13mm socket to take the one bolt out. Use Loctite when putting it back in cause constance up and down motion will loosen up the bolt.
