Ok, so I have scoured the internet for a solution, including Nissan Armada forums for this problem and I can't seem to find an answer anywhere.

This is my wifes 2006 Armada LE with factory Bose 6 Disk changer, Navigation, and factory DVD. We got in it the other day and realized the radio was "frozen." There is no audio at all. And also, the DVD screen won't even come on either. The navigation screen does work, but no audio out of that either. It was working fine when we parked it a few days before. I can't switch to any of the modes (RADIO, CD,DVD,AUX etc...) I have disconnected the battery for about 15 minutes and no change. The display isn't even showing that it is trying to play a CD, or tuned into an FM station or anything at all. It just says "RADIO" and thats it. All of the fuses checked OK. Any ideas??? Please help me!

I have nothing. I have never even heard fo that. Good luck. I suggest that if you are not going to change to an aftermarket set up you check with the local dealerships and see what kind of love they might show you. 2006 you are well beyond any warranty.

I know its kinda late being a year later and all....but did you figure out what the problem was? My 2011 Titan is doing the exact same thing. Its under warranty..(i think) in my case but i really dont like monkeys working on my stuff. And when i say monkeys i mean my local dealership not to be confused with any one on titantalk that happens to work at a dealership:teethmast

I jumped into my 2011 KC, yesterday, and the radio/CD had no audio. The screen would show the radio station, or CD track, just no audio. After making a stop, I turned on the radio, and all was fine! I hate electrical Gremlins!

My 2004 Nissan Titan CC LE is doing the exact same thing. Driving it down the road and all of the sudden the radio shuts off and the nav display goes black. Restarting did nothing. Unhooked the negative battery cable and pulled the Audio fuse (interior) and the constant power radio fuse (under hood) and they were both fine. Put them back, pulled out the head unit and CD changer and made sure those connections were tight and that nothing strange was going on with the wiring otherwise. Put everything back together and started the truck. Everything came up and worked as normal. Drove for about 5 minutes and the NAV screen started rebooting (would go black - show Nissan logo - then come back to the map - Audio would be working this whole time). About another 5 minutes in and the NAV went black and I lost all sound and controls again (except HVAC functions fine). So I am leaning towards a head unit or a radio control bezel - thinking more the HU because for the 10 minutes before I lose the screen all of the controls work fine. Any other thoughts? What did the dealership say when you took yours in?

Hey guys. I’ve got the same issue going on with my 2006 Nissan Armada. All of the sudden my gps screen the CD player, all controls and my rear DVD player quit working. Well the work randomly. We’ve checked the wires and fuses. We’ve reset the battery. All main wires have power but unit still does not work. I’m wondering if any of you have figured out the problem. We are at a loss here. New units are way out of our price range. But we’re afraid if we just throw an after market unit in and say screw the gps and screen that the DVD player will not work, as the factory unit has the sound controls and it’s not working currently. Any suggestions. I apologize if I sound silly. I’m just a girl who wants to jam out on the way to work.

Hey everyone I was just wondering if anyone could help me figure out what going on with my Nissan armada 08. I went to change my screen but had to end up and put factory one back in there. So when I did that now everything just stop working. I check all the fuses they are good and all the wires are connected properly. It's like the AC is on low but I have no power. Please help
