I have a hard time believing on my 2004 SE CC that I don't have enough room to mount any subs? I can fit an 18 pack but not 4 10's? Help me please I want to open up my rear seat understorage again.. maybe move the bench forward if I have to

Since you don't have the automatic retracting window, you have a bit more room, but you'll only have about 4 inches, maybe 5 inches at best. Getting subs back there is gonna be tough unless they're the ultra slim ones.

I run the Probox (down firing) made for a Chevy under the rear driver side seat........1 10" audiobahn with a Blaupunkt 100W (bridged to 300W) and the sound is amazing. Stock radio with the stock mids and highs. Could not ask for a better sound right now.

I believe, if I read his original post correctly, he wants to "open up my rear seat understorage again.." The would mean, he doesn't want a sub box on the floor under the seats. I believe the question was concerning room "behind" the seats on the rear wall of the cab....... Under the seats you can run (4) 12's. That's not really his issue, I don't think.....

My friend had a '06 king kab SE and he had a 10' under each front seat and it hit pretty hard. He was planing a big audio upgrade before he sold his T. :crying:

Several companies make slim 10's now. You may be able to get one of those to fit under a front seat. Typically I see 8" subs under the front seats....

Power acoustik makes a slim 12 and 13 inch sub, it only needs 2 inches of mounting depth so that should work with a home made box and the subs can handle 700 watts each, hope this helps

Pioneer slims sound good. I had 2 of them in a boat for a while, but they got sold to pay for my trucks stereo. I'm not sure what the actual rated power handling for them is, but i ran 2 12s at 600w each in ported boxes under a seat and never had a problem. You'd probably be able to fit those behind your rear seat in a custom box. They don't require much air space even for ported boxes.

Just looked it up and i guess their power handling is 1500w maximum, 400w nominal. And they only need 3-1/4 inches of mounting depth.

Ah i need to pay more attention. You said you wanted to run 10s not 12s. You'd definitely get those behind the seat if thats what you wanted. The 10s only have a 2-7/8 inch mounting depth.
