Bilstein 5100's and 2010 PRO-4X Question

I know this has probably been beat to death, but...;

I have a 2010 Nissan Titan PRO-4X, original suspension…

What all would I need to do if I were to put the Bilstein 5100's all around? I mainly just want to lift the front enough to level it with the back.

If memory serves me on the 2010 PRO-4X, there’s only a 1 1/2” difference…. I know as for the PRG spacers, 2007 later on the 2x4 was 2”, and I think the newer and 4x4 are 1 1/2”…

Other than having the Bilstein's mounted, and the front’s set at 1 1/2": (I presume), what else other than an alignment…? Do I need anything else as for suspensions parts, tie rod ends, etc…?

Thanks,
John

So I've pretty much decided on just the Bilsten 5100 all around, the fronts on the middle setting...;

Is this something that a Nissan dealership can do, or do you suggest an aftermarket shop?

I see so many that have had problems with the install, even from shops, that's why I ask.

I know that I more than likely will also need to order the CAM bolts (which I'll be getting from PRG).

That also, I'll need to get it aligned when the new Bilsteins are put on...

I know this won't be exactly level, but from my understand, it'll be closer than now, plus have a much better suspension.

I read about the sway bar flipping, and some taking them off, etc...

With just the Bilsteins and set at the middle setting, will that be something I need to keep an eye on also, or address...?

Thanks
John

I could yes..., just wanted to go with the Bilsteins for close to the same price, and improve suspension and handling....

A little more expense, and a little more work I agree...

It cost me $56 to have my dealer compress and swap out my new shocks. I compressed them myself the last time and it was a PITA, well worth the money IMHO, took them 30 minutes.

Its not too hard to install yourself if you have the proper tools and a buddy. All you would need is the front shocks to level it out ($200 delivered for a pair), and set them on the middle setting. No other parts are required, but we always recommend an alignment after changing suspension components.

We have a good price & stock the 5100's - let me know if you have any questions!

Are cam bolts required when swapping over to 5100's all around (fronts on middle perch) and no other changes and no spacer?

I've ordered the shocks already... wondering if I need to order cam bolts too?

Thanks.

You will need the cam bolts for a proper alignment. They aren't that expensive honestly and good to have if you ever go higher

Okay thanks... so what is the difference in the cam bolts? Longer? Can these be picked up at a local dealership or are these a custom order? Is there a specific part number?

I'm in Canada... so hoping to get these local if possible. Will the alignment shop have these?

Thanks again.

PRG and Dirt king fabrication sell them. Only the 04-05 had adjustable cam bolts, so the DK/PRG ones are to fix that issue. They are just adjustable. Now that I look, you should be fine without them, but as I said, you will have no worries without them.
