Mine doesn't seem to have apps. I downloaded the Nissan connect app to my phone, but it didn't change any of my menu options.

 

So the Bluetooth option in my settings menu won't appear until I install the Nissan Connect App?

You tried going into the menu and pairing there?

 

Using the steering wheel controls, the phone paired fine and I can send and receive calls. It is that there is no manual control options within the settings menu.

 

Is the Bluetooth music streaming an option only included with the Nav package? I know my 2011 has only the phone bluetooth, no streaming. Total pain, but I've lived a long time without bluetooth streaming, so the past five years has been alright. I use the aux jack some, but mostly just listen to CDs and radio.

But my point is, maybe your truck only has bluetooth for the phone? If you can't find it in the radio settings or menu somewhere, that'd be my guess.

I thought of that too, but the manual makes no reference to it. The manual states that to setup a phone for bluetooth usage (phone stuff) to press the settings button and do it through that. When I did that, there is no bluetooth option.

I think it was 2014. What gets me is that according to my manual, for the type of radio I have, I should be able to press the settings button and have bluetooth as a menu option.

 

I'm having a similar issue with my '13 Armada. It has Bluetooth for phone, but not for music streaming. I personally set it up when I got the truck earlier this year. Now I go to the settings menu and there is no longer a Bluetooth heading. The phone button on the steering wheel says "no phone is connected".
