Well, saw this over at ct and did not see it here. I don't dare to post another link there as I might be banned. So, here it is: http://www.technosquareinc.com/index.html

They are located in CA and will tune our Titan to remove speed limiter, drive-by-wire reprogrammed for full-throttle, timing/fuel maps changed.

Sorry, didn't see it burried in there. All credit goes to m95roadster!

I think this deserves its own thread as I don't recall anyone else able to remove our speed limiter yet. I know Randy probably has but doesn't seem like he's done proto-typing his turbo yet. Lucky folks near LA/OC can get this done now I believe.

Anyone test this yet?

You do not have to be local, but you do have to send in your ecu. The advantage being local is you can get a custom tune specifically for your vehicle. If you only want the L-Spec version (speed limiter and drive by wire mod) then there is no need for a custom tune.

Coming from the 350Z/G35 community, I have seen and heard a ton about technosquare and their flashes. Let me say that several guys do use them for changing the factory timing settings with their turbo kits. This is especially true for the kits like the Greddy Twin turbo kit that does not come with any timing control out of the box. Some guys have run the flash for fuel trim alterations and slightly larger injectors too, but only with low boost applications. The TS re-flash is used on the Power Enterprise TT kit for the 350Z. Guys who ran the re-flash on their N/A cars saw minimal gains at best. Granted, the 350Z ecu is a little closer to being maxed out in the performance department than the Titan, but for the money it has not been a good mod other than for the timing alterations for a turbo kit. Just my 2 cents.

How much are we talking here for this mod $$? Never mind looked at the site $5-$600.
$500-$600 for a reflash is just plain stupid. I have a buddy here who just had a few hours on a Dyno getting a complete tune for his SC, a lot of labor went into it and he spent less then $500.

isn't this like reprogramming and no manual labor? I don't understand the cost of $500-600 dollars. Its like copying a CD and selling the information. Outrageous

You aren't paying this amount for the programming of the ECU. You are paying for the thousands of hours and dollars that were spent to learn how to reprogram the ECU.
Kinda like this old story:
A guy takes his car to his mechanic to have the idle adjusted. The mechanic raises the hood, takes a screwdriver and adjusts a screw until the idle is correct. He then closes the hood and says "That will be $5.00 please." The owner complains, "Five dollars just for turning that little screw?" The mechanic answere, "No, fifty cents for turning the screw. And $4.50 for knowing which screw to turn, which direction and how far."

Or it's like that exhaust system you have that cost only about $75 for materials which you paid $500 for!

I highly doubt they spent thousands of hours learning how to adjust the Titans ECU. They used prior knowledge off other Nissan ECU's and applied it to the Titan. I'm willing to bet that most of the adjustmetns worked exactly the same for the Titan as some of the other Nissan vehicles they can work on.
These prices should include a chip with up to 4 programs on it for multiple fuels, timming curves, fuel injector loads, fuel maps etc along with all of the other things they offer in their package.

I spoke with a guy that was working on a programmer for a Titan and asked the question outright...they cracked the Z's ECU isn't it the same code. And was told out right....no...it's not the same code or we would have it already.

I'm sure there programmer isn't working cheap to reverse engineer any program.

A program to lean out your truck after mods and to open up the TB all teh way to red line won't mean much to some. But to others that want there truck to be one of the fastest on the street...this can mean the world to him.

To each there own. No need to attack one another.
