im stoked...........
after months of stalling around, i finally did the "jumper" mod to get the fogs to go on w the running lights.
it was a bit slow at work today, so i chipped away at the 2 fuses, then soldered the wire on to them per the mod instructions. (yesterday i "popped" the 20 amp fuse by simply just drilling out the connection!)
and WOW! it worked. was worth spending the time out in 20 degree weather to get it to work.
attached are a couple of pics of the actual connection (GREEN wire), the 6th fuse from the bottom, gets coonected to the last (blown) fuse on the top....and u get fogs on w the running lights. (they still stay on w the headlights)

first off, i want to give credit to where credit is due regarding this mod. maybe baseballfanz can help me out, but i dont remember the person's name who initially posted the mod i used.

anywaz, he did have a picture/diagram of the mod. a couple of tips tho to remember......

1) the 10 amp red ,fuse (6th one from the lower left of the fuse box), when you solder the wire to the fuse, the soldered side will be on TOP when inserted in its slot.
2) the 20 amp yellow fuse (last one on the right of the upper row) will have the soldered connection on the BOTTOM when inserted in its slot.
3) ALSO, the 20 amp fuse MUST be blown for this mod to work. I broke the connection by drilling it thru.

i would recommend you get yourself a few 10 and 20 amp mini fuses before u try this mod. luckily, ive had prior years of experience soldering small things.... and also you kinda have to perform minor surgery on the fuses themselves, with a sharp blade u have to chip away at the top half of the fuse moldings in order to get at the actual connection......and dont melt the fuse with the soldering iron.
i myself used a wire a bit to heavy in gage, but it still works. if the the gage is too fat, it wont fit in the fuse slot!...mine barely did w a lil push, hehe.
but w patience and a lil practice it worked for me.

anywaz, i hope my pics help. i took em just as it was getting dark, and the shadows from the flash almost hide the mod fuse, but you can see them if you look carefully............

baseballfanz has been around the forums longer than i have, maybe he can find the "jumper" pics i was talking about.

This is known widely in the Titan circle as Misery-Tom's jumper mod.
Sadly he no longer own the Titan.

this mod basically deletes the fog switch on the stalk, and adds it to the running lights switch.
the fog switch on the stalk does nothing w this mod.

the fogs stay on with the headlights also. i always used my fogs anywaz when i had the headlights on.

now, if for whatever reason i wanted to go back to the way it was, its easy.
ill just remove the jumpered fuses and replace them w the 10 and 20 amp fuses.

I DID IT!!! mod cost me 17$ a new soldering iron, lead, and a box of 10a and 20a fuses. btw the seventh fuse on the bottom row is for our electric fan...lol, dont ask how i found that out. great mod

You can look at this diagram, instead of hooking post 86 to the parking light wire, just hook it to a 12V ign. source. That way the fogs can be turn on when the key is in the On position independent of any light source (parking or headlight). You can still use the switch at the stalk to turn it on and off.

great!...... u did use the 6th fuse right? not sure what would happen if u used the 7th. i think it may blow up!... hehe

so i take it u didnt have to much of a prob cutting the fuses? how did u blow the 20 amp fuse?
