yes i know i bought one off ebay[paganaudio] and they are not in stock yet.i need one so bad. i have a $1500 nav unit in my dash with no trim kit. my truck looks so ghetto right now.... anybody else know where i can get a trim kit?

 

well, the best I can reccomend is either cutting out a double din on your factory one, or getting a xe bezel and cutting out the area for the climate control.

 

We 06 owners are pretty much screwed right now. Just have to wait.

 

I'm having the same problem...I went with the 04 xe bezel...but am now trying to figure out a way to keep the climate control display

I just called metra two days ago asking about this kit, sales say it is still not released, and they don't know when it will be. The tech I talked to said he has seen them laying around on the bench, but not much more info than that. So I'm wondering how this company has them. Or they are just trying to build up a bunch of pre-orders.

 

Why the heck would he list them on Ebay, that really sucks.

I also looked at both the sellers you have posted links to, but haven't found any feedback for that item. I don't think they are shipping yet.

picked my 06 bezel at ultimate electronics, for like $34 but I got it for cost because the stereo shop where they were installing it had me pick it up

but it was a scorche kit

fit seems to be pretty close, only one problem is I don't think the screwed the pocket under the deck in tight and it squeaks a little, but that just means you have to turn it up more, (if it's too loud you're too old right?)

color is a dead on match, I'll get the part # for you I'm 99% sure it's a scorche kit but I'll double check

 

I talked to my metra rep the other day, the 06 with dual climate control, HAS BEEN RELEASED, but they are back orderd already. So..... I'll try and keep you all updated.

I received this in good order by the way. Looks great too! My only question is, if this is for the dual a/c setup than why are there two empty holes on the right side? They aren't there on my current face plate. It is OK, but I would rather have a smooth face without "plugs" filling holes that weren't there to begin with... Ah well, the price for aftermarket goodies I guess.
I am ordering my Pioneer Z1 today! What I need next, is advice on replacement speakers that can drop in with as little trouble as possible. Any suggestions?

 

Ya whats up the those little circles on the replacement face plate? Looks pretty gay. I could cut them out, fill them in and sand it down, and repaint it but thats too much work. Maybe ill use them for a gaming controller plug or something
