Options for wheel adapters

Okay so I've been looking back into getting wheel adapters and wonder if anyone else has run into the delima that Discount tire doesn't rotate and balance tires with wheel adapters.....I guess I understand why but I have a life time of rotation and balancing and I'd be willing to take the adapters off every time see as it'd be a 30 minute job maybe? I'm just wondering if anyone has faced this and found out what to do? I really have never gone anywhere else for rotate and balance and if other places do it for a low price then i'd just take it somewhere else. Just wondering what other people with wheel adapters do?

Also would it be more practical to take all 4 off each time or just go somewhere else? I mean it is only every 3,000-5,000 miles which is like two or three times a year.

for me, it was worth the looks of adaptors. I rotate my tires myself anyways. I never throw wheel weights so I wasnt too concerned. Just remember, adaptors cut down on your tire clearance.

throw wheel weights? and I could rotate myself but not balance. its just been easy running to discount tire to get it done for free. guess I still can just gotta take em off or like i said i'd pay to have em done without taking them off. I plan to do the PWM and this will complete the look I'm going for. I'm not rubbing right now so bring on the rub!!!!

Just take the wheels off and bring them in separately to get them balanced. It's more work, but that's what I do to save on a lot of BS. I used to take the whole truck in, but since I had a near miss when they didn't position one of the lift arms on my frame correctly (they caught it in time but still dented/creased my gas tank shield) I vowed to never bring the whole truck in again.

At another Discount Tire I went to, they actually would "test drive" the vehicles after balancing and rotating the tires. When I inquired about it, they insisted it was "store policy" and there was nothing I could do about it. Well, let's just say I got the heck out of there as fast as possible . Another thing, if they happen to scratch your wheels when they remove the inside weights by using the wrong tool, you'll have a better chance in getting them to admit it and pay damages if you bring just the wheels in. Once they put them on the truck, it's nearly impossible.

Most people are probably not this picky, but when your wheels are mint and you specifically warn them to be careful and use the right tool when removing the weights and they don't, they need to be held responsible.

Throw wheel weights, like loose them off the wheel, putting the wheel out of balance

Yeah I figured. See my discount tire places have always been great. Never had a problem and actually enjoy shooting the **** with Em while I get stuff done. But I also don't live near one and only get my tires rotated nd such when I go home.
