Could be a bad sensor problem or bad harness

 

i changed out the sensor it comes together with the wiring. the other harness controls the valvebody what else could it be

 

Manual state

Possible Cause
● Harness or connectors
(The sensor circuit is open or shorted.)
● Revolution sensor
● Vehicle speed sensor MTR

 

this is what im getting (Nissan OBD-II Trouble Code P0720)

 

thats the revolution sensor and where is it located?

 

The only thing I can find is the wire but I guess you can trace it to the sensor, it's inside the transmission. Let me dig through the manual some more.

yep still got the code to this day lol

 

Not at work right now but, off top off my head i beleive this is a valve body/tcm issue which will require replacement or repair of valve body. I beleive this is same code i fixed on a titan last week, had to replace valve body. I will look tomorrow and get back to you.

 

please do so i think its a solenoid that makes it go dumb and its more than likely the direct clutch solenoid because those were the clutches that were burnt badly the first time i rebuilt it

 

I think he has the Transgo shift kit, if that makes any difference.

 

highly doubt that has anything to do with the code. this code popped up when i changed the tranny pan and changed the fluid. i think the valve body went dry with no fluid once i filled it up and when i turned it on it fried a solenoid, thats what i think happened.
