QUestion about how high i can go

I was reading and what I came up with is that I can lift my truck four inches without having to worry about boot problems and other problems arising. From the research I've done I've concluded that the bilsteins will lift 2" and act as a .5" spacer so total you get 2.5" of lift is this correct? So if I were to get my two inch spacer and put it on with the bilsteing and put them at middle perch that gives me 4" total of lift and that can be acquired as long as I have after market Ucas?

4" is referring to the older models. id suggest about 3". i doubt 4" would clear even with aftermarket uca's.

why is it different?

So what should I do then? Haha

Even then, i think you'll only get 3" out of it, in 07 they moved the coilbucket further up, so you have less room for height without more modifications....

So why can't I go 2" spacer?

Ive been told that the rough countries rest on the main support of the arm even if they don't contact the bucket

Am I right about the shock giving .5" as a spacer?

Disregard post. Just saw that you are 4x4. 4" will probably be tough to reach as a 4x4.

Will that work with a 4x4 and I already have a spacer

See I want to go as high as possible I already own the 2" ncd Spacer, and I have the bilsteins being shipped tomorrow I just need to know my next move and how high to crank everything

#17 ·
the next move is to get upper control arms. rough country will prolly work.

#18 ·
The only question I have with that is, will i still have contact?

#19 ·
and once I get new ucas what would you guy suggest on me getting the highest lift without causing damage to be

#21 ·
ha I just want more! haha

I agree with storm, and that's what my plan is, It will work for sure. However, everyone's truck is different... Royj an old member on here had a new pro4x and installed the 2.5" RC kit with 5100's on the middle setting and picked up 4". Met him at a meet and went offroading. He still had uca/cb clearance and had zero problems on the trail. Like I said though, everyone's truck is different!

what arms was he running?

From someone who's been at 3.5"-4" on a 4x4, don't do it. Stay at 3" and be happy. The alignment is hard to keep, it'll ride like crap, your CV boots will get rings in them and wear down where they are pressed together, you won't have a lot of droop with rc arms, and your steering rack will hate you. I think I was one of the first to go for 4", and I'm back down to 3" because of ^^^^^^^^^^^^^

And if you still want to go for it, don't be cheap and get rc uca's. Get the ones that have uniballs and have the downward curve. I kick myself daily for not waiting for DK to come out with some.

This was Josh's pro4x with the 2.5" RC kit with arms and 5100s on middle setting. My old T is next to his. We were both the same height, but I was running a spindle lift totaling 7.5" over stock.

Btw those are in fact 35x12.5 on Josh's T (the black pro4)
