rock auto 2005 4.0 L v6 frontier (DEA A7366 & WESTAR EM9520) look like the correct ones (didn't include the anchor because it didn't have a picture) but after shipping might come out more than the one from amazon (came with free shipping), if you go rock use the 5% discount code.
looks like there is a difference between the titan 4wd and 2wd trans mount
some one else probably knows more and can chime in.

The one on the left is for the 4WD, the one on the right is for the 2WD. The Frontier appear to use the same tall setup for the 2WD and short for the 4WD. I'm sure the transfer case is the reasoning for this. The 2WD's don't seam to have the issue with the tranny mounts going bad as soon like the 4WD's do.

I have a 2wd but what are the signs or symptoms of a bad or going bad tranny mount? I mean my truck clunks a little when I go from park to Rev or drive thought that was normal in any truck ?

Kinda wondering the same thing other than jacking the tranny up and seeing if there are tears. I'm currently chasing a squeak when I start that is speed dependent (longer squeak if I accelerate slowly, shorter if it's fast). Cannot for the life of me find it and am wondering if this is it.

Yeah from a visual inspection. It looks fine but who knows.

But your squeak sounds like a u joint on the drive shaft. Not sure if your 2wd or 4x4 but I would look into that. They're pretty cheap and kind of easy to replace if it's not corroded.

I'm getting a squeak or creaking when getting on the back bumper which I'm sure is either the shackle bushings or leaf springs but I've lubed the hell of out both with silicone lubricant spray it helped but I can still kind of hear it. Anybody know other ways to lube shackles and leaf springs? Lol

Glad to see a few of you benefited from my post. So far so good with the mount. Just crawled under last night to do a visual to confirm. Solid as ever. I do have a bit of play/clunking in the drive train. It is different than before. I think it is my slip yoke sticking a little. I'm thinking that after fixing the mount the slip yoke is now taking all the play and really having to work. Anybody else having similar symptoms?

I did a write up a few years ago on how to disassemble them and grease them.

just about to replace my front u-joints, after the transmission mount it was good for about a week then i got a clunk back and a vibration from around 40mph to 50 mph or around 1000rpm to 1300rpm. I think taking the play out sealed the fate on the original u-joints.

Just replaced the front universal joints today and no more vibration or clunk. the ones I took of looked like the originals and if that was the case, they had 177000 miles on them

Well, looks like my PRG vibrator tore at the welds. I'm so annoyed with spending money on what I thought would be a permanent solution. I'll post some pics of the torn mount tomorrow when I get the part back from the dealership.

I decided to go ahead and see if this little recommendation by some of y'all would really solve the problem. This is my 2nd tranny mount replaced, this one which you can see tore completely in half was on the truck for not even 6 months. I knew my truck had power but not that much haha. I took a few pictures of the frontier mount next to the Titan mount so you can see the difference in case anyone else was wanting to try! So far so good, it's been on the truck for only a little while though. Let's see how long I can get this one to last! [emoji16][emoji482]

thanks for the update. how many miles would you say r on it currently?

I only have a thousand or so miles on it now, but that number will go up quickly. I have not towed anything yet with the new mount but will probably in the near future. I do have close to 37" tires on my truck right now so there is quite a strain on it. Seems rock solid even after so dead stop pedal to the floor take offs.
