I was reading another thread and started wondering what type of vehicle everyone owned or drove BEFORE they bought or traded for their Titan and if they miss their former vehicle...

•• I traded in a 2003 Infiniti FX45 and I don't miss it at all! Roll on, Titan!! ••

99 Dakota CC, 5.2, Solar Yellow, dynoed at 252 rwhp. Loved it, but my Dad wanted it so bad, I sold it to him. Got the Titan, and love it even more. It's quiter, tows more, more comfortable, and more stylish. I like having a newer vehicle thats under warranty and reliable over long hauls. The Dodge crapped out the tranny and the rear end while I had it, so I was losing faith in it. Don't miss it that much.

Just have to do some things to the Titan, like better stereo(I still have the TSB fading stereo), better speakers(no bass, back doors rattle), exhaust(but for a stock truck, best I've ever heard), and I'll be VERY happy with it.

I traded in a 2002 nissan 4 banger frontier with 104 thousand miles on it.
Loved that little truck.Changed the oil in it and thats it,[even had the original General tires on it after 104k.]
I'm self employed and drive over 100 miles a day 6 days a week.Picked up my XE 4X4 on the 11th of Aug and now have 2600 miles of happiness on the odometer.
If I didn't need the extra room to haul my new employees around with, I'd buy another frontier.[4 banger, manual trans and General tires]

All right,
Here goes:

Me: 88 Maxima, 2K Maxima, and finally 04 Titan.

Wife: 92 Stanza, 03 Murano, 04 Murano (long story)
Sisters: 96 Max, 98 Pathfinder
Brothers: 96 Pathfinder, 97 Pathfinder.

I guess we like Nissan :).

Last truck was a1992 Chevrolet Silverado 4x4 3/4 ton Ext Cab. It was a great truck. I put 192,000 miles on it with few maintenace issues. Sold it to a friend, and he drives it daily. The only thing that I miss are the one piece mirrors. Not too crazy about Nissan's 2 piece design for the towing mirrors. The side of the mirror (plastic) blocks part of the view in the convex mirror...
Otherwise, I don't miss the Chevy. The Titan is more fun to drive. I am still impressed with the handling and acceleration.

I gave my wife 04 Maxima and traded in her 02 yukon XL. I love to drive my Maxima and I still can. The titan is so much better than the Yukon.

Besides a '90 Buick Century that was used for to/from work, I also sold in the last year a '87 Buick Regal Grand National, and a 69 Camaro SS..

Never would have thought that a truck (the Titan) would have filled the void left by the Camaro and the GN. But it has, its a beast!!!

Still feel like Im in a high performance vehicle, 'cept I'm sitting much higher up.

Drove an '88 Toyota Camry, then a '93 Camry, and road trips in my wife's 2000 Grand Caravan.
After driving the Titan for a couple of weeks, I drove the '93 Camry, and it felt like I was sitting on a skate-board. Actually it was a little scary.

01 Toyota Tundra with a V8. I miss the gas mileage. Iwas getting >18 MPG and now I'm around 15 MPG.
