Never EVER thought of owning one until I found my 2005 at a dealership & realized it was priced better than the Big3 AND had way more features in comparison to the same +/- model years that the Big3 had.

i had considered them once before but went with a chevy not three years later i was looking to buy another truck and drove me brothers 2008 pro4x and fell in love. everything these trucks offer for the price and the quality of the product is amazing i will be buying another titan next time.

Loved the titan since it debuted at the auto show years ago. Has no idea how much of a true beast it was till i bought one 2 years ago. The "big 3" were overpriced when i was looking a couple years ago, i was ready to pull the trigger on an avalanche for another grand and 30k more miles, luckily the dealer sold it before i got there. Had an 01 ram 1500 with the 318 for about 3 months before i picked the titan up. Couldn't get that oil puking dodge out of my driveway soon enough. Plus the titan is a rare beast, see a hundred of the big 3 every day, maybe see 2 or 3 titans.

I also want to add that I love my truck & it gets a lot of looks.

However, I want a Ford Raptor in the WORST way :)

A lot of truck for the money. I've had 3 other Nissans (97 4x4 PU, 92 4x4 Pathfinder, 03 4x4 Pathfinder) so it wasn't a big leap for me. I LOVE the fact that in the almost 2 years I have had my Pro-4x, I've only seen 1 other black one, and maybe a couple of grey ones. It's nice having something you dont see everywhere you look on the road.

I had a Nissan Hardbody V-6 2wd until i needed a full size truck.

Then i bought 98 Chevy 4x4. Bad brakes, leaking intake gasket, leaking fuel injectors, weak tranny, faulty battery cables, etc, etc.
So no more chevy's.

Ford would only honor their warranty at the original selling dealer. Yes, that is true.
So no more Ford's.

Never did like Dodge, the whole grill attached to the hood thing. Plus many peeps i knew went through fuel pumps in dodges like candy. And week trannys also.
So no Dodges.

Totota still had the 3/4 sized Tundra in 2005/2006 which was too small.
So no Toyotas.

The Hardbody took 40,000 miles to break in so I knew the Titan would last a long time so here I am.

Love the tailgate assist, the adaptive computer, the loose torque converter, the low gearing.

WooooHoooooo

Because it is the best looking and lots of room. I had no Idea it was this fun to Drive. I drove a Van for many years and I was ready for a change to something with Style!

I went to trade my nice 2001gmc serria z71 in at the Chevy dealership where i bought the truck new and they were douche bags on the trade in value and financing on the new chevy i wanted. I said I would just keep the gmc but on the way home I pulled in the Nissan dealership and I liked the titan. I drove it and had to have it. They gave me 3k more than Chevy offered for my trade in and nmac gave me a great interest rate so I went home with my titan.

It's crazy where my family farms because everyone drives Chevys and a few dodge cummins. I get plenty of heads to turn when I'm rolling through town and I let my exhaust rumble.

For me - my 2005 Galaxy Black CC LE just was ment to be. I had been truck shopping for weeks - and was actually doing an extended test drive on a 2005 Dodge Ram with the Hemi and all options - and was hauling the load of concrete bags I bought from Loews in Vestal NY up the big hill next to the Nissan Dealership. It was snowing heavy and I had the Dodge in 4 wd clawing up the hill and the trans started slipping really bad. I backed down the hill into the lot of the Nissan dealer - and parked right next to what was soon to be my new Nisan Titan. The nice people at Serafini Nissan let me use their phone to call the Dodge dealer for some help - and when I told them what I was doing with the extended test drive on the Ram - offered me the Titan to try out - and the saleman even helped me load the bags into the T. After I got it home and unloaded - I returned to the Dodge dealer and gave back the paperwork to them - and went over to Nissan and bought my New Titan. It just seemed right and I have been happy with my truck ever sinse. When I get board - I just come here to TT - and map out my next round of Mods - and - WOW - get that new truck feeling all over again when it runs better than ever!

A friend had a 2009 silverado, and the tranny went out at 40k miles, so no go.
Not a fan of the f150s looks, except for the raptor ;-)
Have heard reliability issues with the rams.

So it was between the ridgeline, tundra and titan.
Have owned 2x tacos, great trucks, and wanted to try something new.

I had a 2000 gmc and it turned like a battle ship. my friend got one new in 05 he let me drive it once and ive been hooked since then.just got mine last month early bday gift for my self. its by far better looking than any other truck and the space in the back is what I love the most. compared to the big 3

I bought my T after a friend/ co-worker let me ride in his T on several occasions over a period of a year, then I was sold on the T. Love the performance, styling, engineering and the ride of the T. I was a mechanic for 28 years and worked on just about everything out there. Have to say Ford is the worse, then Dodge. Chevrolet is a good product. I'll never sell my T, it's here to stay.

I had a '98 K1500 that had a lot of miles and I was tired of fixing it. Went to trade it in on a lifted Ford, but it sold before I got to the dealer. They also had a '06 Z71 and my Titan. The T was 1 year newer, had the crew cab vs king cab, a lot less miles, way more power, and it was $3,000 less. Sure the Chevy had dual climate, but that was a sacrifice I'm glad I made. The wife loved it cause it looked like a "Tonka truck".

I am a Ford guy originally and owned a Ford Mustang, Ford Bronco II.

Then when the BII was getting old, I looked at a Nissan Pathfinder in 1995 because Ford didn't have anything comparable.

Then in 2004 when I needed a truck, the Ford was too expensive for me and I did like my Nissan so when the Titan came on market below the cost of everyone else's comparable trucks, I gave it a go.

I knew going in that it would have teething troubles and to accept that as a part of getting something no one else had.

It's been a great truck that I'd enjoy.

I had always been a Ford guy. Then I had twins and already had a son so I needed (thought i did anyway) a SUV so the my boy (3 years old) didn't have to sit between carseats. So I went with the Armada that was in 2008. Very nice vehicle. Then while owning the Armada my father bought a Titan. That made me want my truck back. Twins are now 5 and he is 8 so sitting 3 across without carseats is doable. Therefore I went with the Titan. Love the truck.

Had an 04 when they came first came out. That's after test driving a Sierra Denali and F-150. Didn't drive the Chevy or Dodge at that time. As or the Tundra, liked how it looked back then but never drove that either. So when it was time to get another truck, I stuck with what I liked. I'm not saying the rest sucks, personally I think the Ram looks best (i'll never own one), chevy is ugly, Sierra Denali is sick looking and nicely equiped if you want to spend $55K. Fords look good IMO. King Ranch is nicely equiped, so are the Platinum versions. In the end, I've owned Nissans since 2002 except for an 18 month stint with a 06 Yukon Denali. I'm a Nissan Fan

Latest Motor Trend I recently saw show sales shares as follows +/- 1-2%
FORD F-SERIES 36%
TOYOTA- 6.9%
NISSAN- 1.4%
CHEVY- 26%
DODGE- 24%

I forgot the rest, I'm doing this from memory
