Yeah - I found that out the hard way. Got my windows tinted on Tuesday and I was unlocking the truck at one point and I'm OCD about locking/unlocking with a key fob. anyway, all of the sudden the front windows went down. Kind of panicked because with the new tint they aren't supposed to be put down for a week. oops. Cool feature though - my wife's FX35 did that too.

i have been to a local hardware numerous times but twice that i have been there i went out to my truck and the windows were down
i thought it was something at the store like their security lol
now i know

 

There's a lot of other "secret" codes. I heard you can decipher them with something call an "Owner's manual"?

Try putting the key in the driver's side key hole, twist and turn clockwise and hold, see what happen, can also do it counter clockwise too.

 

I stuck mine in the dashboard the other day and turned it and the whole truck started making noise.

 

recently i stoped to get my mail so when leaving i put my window up it went all the way up then back down 3 inches
ever seen that?

i have the vent shades i have not changed anything on the truck
maye very cold weather caused something to shift maybe?
i vdo rem it was very cold then

 

Yeah that usally happen when yo uhave the in chanel visors. Extreme cold or hot make everything expand or contract a little.

 

The keyfob window down "feature" can be disabled by your dealer. It takes about 15 min to do. I had mine done after I came out one morning to find 1" of snow on the front seats.

 

Thanks everyone. I do appreciate the sarcasm:teeth: I've had the truck for 13 months and it only started happening in the last month so I assumed it wasn't normal. Maybe Im growing a tumor on my A$$ that engages the button. :3eyes:

 

Glad to hear that the dealer can disable the remote auto down feature. Came out this morning and both my windows were down. Both seats were damp.
