Who has Icon front shocks on their 2004 Titan's? I emailed Greg at PRG and waiting on a response whether to go with the Bilstein HD, 5100's or just purchase Icon's for the front since Greg recommended Icon rear replacement. I installed the Icon's on the rear this past April although at first I wasn't happy with them being installed boot down but the ride is a whole lot better then the OEM shocks. I've been gone for awhile and back searching again and still undecided which front shocks to get. The majority of Titan owners recommend Bilstein but its the 2004 owners I'm interested in hearing from who have done changes to their trucks. It's probably the Bilstein HD so I don't have to remove my leveling kit but Icon's on the front would match the rear. Greg has always provided sound advice. If I had the money and the time, I would drive to California and have Greg completely redo my truck with what he would recommend. Anyway, I've searched this site for Icon's, Bilstein and Rancho and most news is older or repeative, thanks!

I dont think I received your email, so ill just anwer here. There is a HUGE difference between the Icon front coilovers ($1149/pr) and Bilstein front replacement struts (approx $200/pr). Icon does not make a replacement front shock, only a complete coilover assembly. If money is not an issue, then the Icon (or SAW at this price point) is a much better option.

Thanks Greg for the reply and it was talking to you today. Your Bilstein HD for $179, are these for the pair or the cost for each. I didn't order them yet because after talking to you to purchase these for my truck, I wasn't sure if the quantity should be one or two, thanks!

Get the Icon or SAW, much better ride IMO

But if you're on a budget, the Bilstein's are definitely your best option up front.

Thanks, because for my particular truck the Bilstein HD Greg sells is enough. I tried to followup with Greg at his email adress from his website but for some reason the address is not recoginzed so I'm using this forum. He has been a good source for information and I can order the same shocks from eshocks or shockwarehouse but the price difference isn't much and I'll order from Greg.

Good man, I didn't see anybody from eshock or shockwharehose taking the time to come on here and answer questions so that's worth a few bones in my opinion.

$179 should be for both front struts. I just order the Bilstein HD assembled for $288 which includes $50 core charge for return of old struts. Saves me some time swapping springs. I also ordered the Icons for the rear.

Greg call to day to apologized that my order was delayed due to computer problem. So instead of getting them tomorrow I'll see them Monday. He even offered to meet me in San Diego with them as he was going to be down this way. Was not going to install them this weekend anyway so delay was no problem.

How's that for service.

Thanks again Greg.
