So... I have come across an 06 Titan that has been t-boned. Cranks and drives fine. Except that it can turn a circle when holding the wheel straight. I already have a 96 Hardbody sitting around here with a good frame and body. Thinking about combining them. Whatcha think? Anybody seen it done yet?

Well if I do it, it'll be the VK56. And I can assure everybody that there will be NO GM PRODUCTS anywhere on or around this truck. No to sound like anti GM a$$hole, but I've had it with General Motors. That's why I bought my Titan to begin with. Anyway, when I get some time, I will start peeling this other Titan apart, and getting to the fun stuff

I wouldn't worry too much about weight, those old V6 VG30 motors were iron blocks so the all aluminum VK isn't dramatically heavier. Still, if you're still rollin a hard body, it's probably a good idea to replace all the suspension bushings and shocks and perhaps even the springs with all new parts. I did that on my dad's 95 a couple years back and man did it need it!

Did this happen? I keep wanting a crawler and keep thinking a hardbody vk but that vh45 would be sweet too!
