I filled up a few days ago... 28 gallon tank I believe.... and with just over 1/4 of a tank left, I've driven 130 miles. That's terrible!! Any suggestions on how to get better gas mileage. And no, I don't drive it hard either... well... most of the time. :)

I get lil over 10 when I want to hear my CAI and Exhaust. If I drive good I get 11.5 to 13. How many miles do you have ? Also, People have said the MPG is lower in the winter months because of the gas used.

How many gallons did it take on the fill up ? My tank is a 1/4 off so if it says 1/4 I actually have a half a tank.

Word to the wise...don't calculate MPG on your titan. It's bad for your health.

Most of my driving (90%) is done as "City" driving. I'm averaging 12.5 MPG. When new I was avg. 14 MPG, it dropped to about 11 MPG but is slowly creaping back up, last 4 or 5 tanks I've been getting the 12.5 mpg. I'm in the process of getting the Eco Fuel System, a few members with Titan already tried it and claim to be worth it, no snake oil.

Yea, and life sucks when they both aren't working right. At least my truck is under warranty. I wish girls came under warranty.:teethmast

About the mpg, i'm getting about 12.8 to 13.4 city, 14.5 to 15.2 on highway. I'll drive real "careful" for a few days then i'll ruin all the progress i made by getting on it for a few minutes.:coolsmile

trying to figure gas mileage on a full size truck, is like anticipating a womens response. bank'

Since you insist on keeping this thread on topic...

Remember...there is a lot of variance between the different titan lines.

KC 2wd w/o BT or OR do a hell of a lot better than the 4x4 CC w/ BT

11.7 city ... 15-18 long highway driving ... 9.5-10 towing 5k travel trailer

I don't have the energy to break it down, my driving is a mixed bag, but since I put on my Toyos (damn big tires....."just kidding!"---Apu), I'm getting 11-12 mixed. Screw it, I just got a nice raise, was able to put 90% of it in 401k, still on target to retire early, and what little I got left of it goes to the beast! :gunz:

OOOwch!!! And I was complaining about getting 15.7 in town. At least I get 19.8 on the way to Vegas.

Wow I feel better after reading this thread , most of mine in very much stop and start like every 100 yards or less to work and my worst is 13 and thats with a heavy foot. When I run errands it goes up near 15 on average , on the highway I got 19 with a full bed running around 85 mph . One of the guys at work with the same titan as mine < even color > got 22 on his last trip.

I'M middle aged with a middle income and I don't care about the MPG of the Titan. I bought this truck knowing the EPA MPG was 14 MPG City and 18 MPG HWY. My truck is 4X4 with Big Tow. So I thought to myself, right, I should be getting better mileage! The vehicle I traded in for my Titan was a 2003 Ford Ranger 4.0 L that got at best in city 13 MPG and HWY 20 MPG. My average city is 10-13 MPG (very short distance driving) on my Titan. Best HWY over several longer trips has been 17.5+ MPG. Towing a 5000+ trailer has been 10+MPG in a mostly mountainous area. The long and short of it is, I bought a TRUCK. I DID not expect to get good mileage.
