i have noticed that gauge does'nt seem to be reading properly today when i filled it up, last week a buddy of mine noticed and i kindv'e blew it off. it seems to be reading about 1/8 to quarter low after filling up, i know its topped off...............anyone else have similiar inccident????????????????
??

I've had mine since February 2004, and it has always done that. Never have I seen it go to the full mark. I have gotten used to it, and know that at 1/4 tank left, I've run right at 300 miles and have about 7 or 8 gallons of gas left.

Mine is the exact opposite. I never "double pump" so to say to top it off, once it clicks I'm done and the gauge will be above F for 10-15 miles before moving. However, when my light comes on at E I have never put on more than 22 gallons of fuel.

I suppose it all depends on how the needle is set on the gauge. Mine also moves very fast in the first quarter ( about 75 miles) and slowly in the 3/4 to half tank ( about 150 miles). Kinda wierd.

I have an '06 and it just started doing that. I know its full but it'll read about 1/8 -1/4 below full until I drive for about 15 minutes then it will come up. I was going to put it on my list to give the dealer for warranty fixes.

Mine's a little wonky too on a 2006 SE CC.
However, it is not as wonky as the Chevy I unloaded, so I am happy.
Mine gets back with the program after I drive it awhile.

my guage takes 10 minutes to go up to F after filling. got me...
Mine too. First time I filled it, I thought I must have done something wrong. It just takes it a little while to realize its full.

This seems to be a common issue with a lot of Titans. Mine has the same problem. I took it in for service and they replaced the sending unit. Its better with the new sending unit, but after 15 miles of filling up it reads 3/4 of a tank. So while the new sending unit allowed the gage to read full, it drops so fast that I dont trust it at all.

ok, my titan is 06 Le CC, its just like some of you said, same thing after ten minutes or so, gauge goes to full. i have had my Titan since last dec. this is first time that this has done this, it always has gone to full right after start up and gradually went down, but from what i have heard i am not concerned. thanks for input..............

My 04 has done this only once, it was the only time i let it go below a quarter of a tank, took 30 minutes to go from all most empty to full. All other times it reads full or a little more.
ditto...my 06 did this to me last week for the first time...I filled her up, and it only went to 3/4 full...I was like wtf...30 min later it was up to Full.

Yours only gradually goes down?!?! lol Mine takes a while to register full sometimes as well.

Call the dealer. There is a TSb out for the fuel sending unit that controls the fuel guage. Most of us have had it replaced under warranty.

Yep, my 04 CC LE does the same thing. It doesn't show full until I drive a few miles. I fill it until it clicks and then I go to the next $0.25 mark. Why? Because I have severe OCD and only stop in $.25 incraments. Don't ask, I just do. :upsidedow

Mine was doing the same thing, but was also sometimes sticking at just under full after a fill up and would stay there sometimes up to over 200 miles.

They replaced the fule sending unit/fuel filter and it has worked since. The needle still drops very quickly and then the light will come on and it will only take 20-21 gallons.

mine did that after i left the cap off and switched pumps it registered low but now its fine
