Thanks for writing back. Here is my problem. All the mods i have been on my truck for a while. I have the K@N aircharger,JBA headers, Custom exhaust with magnaflow x pipe , and Flowmaster Super 40s, and 2 degree timing. The problem with the SES light started after i replaced the gasket on the cat to the custom exhaust. So i took to the dealer and they said it was the upper A/f ratio meter or upper 02 on right side. I replaced it light went came back on 30miles later. So i ordered o2 simulators no help. So have any you had problems like this? Also the truck feels great even though the light is on because I beat a Silverado ss The other night from a roll.

You have to pull the code, it could be anything, you say you replaced the gasket on the cat. It might be leaking, it might not. Pull the code. Go into the "How to" section for instruction.

The gasket blew out so i replaced it. But nissan said upper o2.
goto autozone and pull the code
or you can pull the code yourself.
1)Turn key to on position
2)Wait exactly 3 seconds (count 1thounsand1, 1thousand2....)
3)Push gas pedal down and release 5 times within 5 seconds)
4)Wait exactly 7 seconds (count 1thounsand1, 1thousand2....)
5)Hold gas to floor for 10 seconds.
6)Release pedal when SES starts blinking.
7)Count flashes, there is a slight pause in between digits
10 flashes equal 0

Example

10flashes = 0
pause
1 flash = 1
pause
7 flashes = 7
pause
2 flashes = 2

The code is P0172

The lights will continue to flash the sequence.

If you want to reset the ECU which will remove the SES light, hold the accelerator for at least 10 seconds. Turn off the ignition after 10 seconds. The ECU should be reset and the SES light should be gone.

this is probably stupid but this is the upper sensors right. And if im right that means something maybe wrong with the intake or ecu.
Noch check your exhaust for leaks. Have a Consult2 or Cipher diagnose the issue looking for fuel of 102-106% normal. Also have the AF checked looking at voltage should be 1.5volts at 2Krpm.

Or have the dealer fix it. I have had 2 -A/F, 1 - O2, 1- MAF and one cat replaced already. All under 36K warranty. No issues since I'm at 45K+.
