Hi guys, i've been looking at the board now for a week before I bought my Titan on saturday (Pic in sig). Great board. Anyways, does anyone have a problem with the Radio reflection in the rear view mirror (bouncing off the rear window). I have to have my dash lights on the lowest setting at night to reduce the reflection, but it's still there.

Yup. It's common for all us King Cab guys. You do get used to it after a while if that's any consolation. Great looking truck. Welcome to the boards and enjoy them both!

Thanks guys, I have had 5 Ford Rangers and bought a 29ft Travel Trailor, and the Nissan really looked apealing to me. Wanted something different from everybody else. I have been getting the second glances going down the highway!!! One guy in a Chevy gave me the thumbs up today...I hope it was his thumb!!:hahano:

Isn't that actually off your drivers side window? Not the mirror itself?

You must be a little shrimp!

Haha, it depends on how tall you are if you see it or not..It's visible in the King Cab, and I'm 6'0"...I adjust my dimmer all the way up just before the "click" and it's not bad anymore..i dont even notice it.

Don't have this problem and, yes, i'm a shrimp:D :hahano: .
Try adjusting your rearview mirror around a bit.
Cheers, Lee S.

I think I've noticed it once or twice. Not a real pain IMO. I don't really watch my rear-view mirror at night unless there are headlights behind me, in which case, I can't see the reflection anyways.

Welcome fellow Badger and fellow cheesehead!

Welcome to the boards!!! I got a CC LE and I get the temp and radio controls in my rear view. Double the crap I see back there! You'll get use to it though and wont notice it after awhile.

Oh and tow it will!!! You'll forget that 29 footer is back there at times! As for the reflection, it's commn on both the KC and CC models. I've had good luck with adjusting the rearview mirror. Other than that, you will get used to it. I think it's just the orange color that makes it so noticable.
Welcome to the forum BTW. Nice truck.

Welcome. Nice picture in front of Monona bay. Where in Madison are you located and where did you pick up your truck? Zimbrick or Kayser?

Good pick up on the Monona bay, I got it a Kayser. Kept fighting between the both of them but Kayser is closer, so I gave them the last shot. I live near PD and MapleGrove rd (Family Video). I have 2 sisters that live in Mt Horeb.

Maby we just have shinny windows! Im used to this cause all my trucks did this. The darker you tint the back window the more it reflects. youll get used to it, i run my dimmer switch like AG's right before it clicks to full bright

Cutting out a piece of mirrored Mylar or real dark window tinting material and placing over the radio lighted display will dim the reflection down to the point where it is barley visible, but you can still read what's on the display. Give it a try. I was annoyed at first also, but got used to it and don't really notice it any more.
