To Kill a Cat!

Ok - no I really dont want to kill this cat - however, he's testing my patience and I am very close to buyin a pump action pellet gun and unload on the damn thing!

So heres the deal. I live in a Triplex. This black cat ALWAYS runs up and pisses on my tires when I park my truck. One night when I was sitting IN my truck I saw the bastard sneak into my garage (not realizing what he was going to do) and he sprayed my DRYER. I chased him out.. Took restraint not to do something then. "misslelau

So the my front door, the screen is just nasty looking with stains from that cat pissing. You can even see where he nails the front door too. Yesterday I just happened to look at my Garage door - and I noticed he's been spraying the garage door now too. I looked at my neighbors apartment - Same deal. Garage door is sprayed, Screen door has marks all over it.

Sunday night I was in the front room on my laptop - I heard a loud THUD and my alarm went off. Thinkin some idiot smacked my truck to setoff my alarm, I jump outside real quick to find a CAT on the hood of my truck staring at me all scared. I chased him off and went back in the house. This wasn't the black cat tho - it was a ragged lookin white and orange cat. My alarm didn't go off for the rest of the night.

When I got up in the morning, there was CAT PISS ON MY WINDSHIELD. I dont think that white cat had enough time to tag my windshield when the alarm was set off. Hell, I've never seen it spray before.

So part of the problem - i dont know which cat is sprayin - but this **** needs to stop. Every time I wash my truck the next day my tires look like **** cause the cat sprays it. Everytime I turn around theres yet another stain on my front door.

So short of shooting the POS, or snatching it up and throwing it against the wall - are there any other ways to stop this thing from pissing all over everything? The black cat belongs to the 3rd neighbor - who from what I could tell doesn't have cat piss all over their front door (I didn't look at their car tires, or garage door tho). The orange and white one, I think is theirs also - but not sure. Believe it or not, I do love animals.. just mine have always been trained NOT to do this. I would like to wash my truck and have it look nice for more than a day. I'd like to not have the clear coat on my wheels errode because some worthless cat marking territory.

Come on guys - I know Cayan pepper stops a dog from diggin in wholes, and eatin **** in the yard... What stops a cat from pissing all over everything? Is there any way I could electrically charge my truck so anything within 6" gets zapped, without shorting/blowing out my electrical system?

You need to move!@!!!

Seriously, call animal control!!

By the way, moth balls is what stops a cat from pissing everywhere!!

YOU can piss all over your yard, and evenutally, he will quit.

you could also run a couple of wires under your front door and hook them to a car battery that way when the cat pisses on the door it gets a little shock probably won't do it again :flamed: then you should go see your neighbor and :boxing: for not being responsible for their cat!

Get an air gun, put a piece of rice (not cooked rice) in it and shoot the little sh*t with it. He won't be comming back soon. The rice won't really hurt him but would sting the living sh*t out of him. When some neighbors cat that would do that or climb all over my cars with dirty cat paw prints, I shot them once and they knew not to come back and do it again because they knew I was watching.

pshhh leave it to the pro... haha jk the pellet gun sounds good but i dont think it will work... i think i would catch it and take it in to an animal shelter... ive been fighting off a few cats for YEARS and the people moved but the cat stayed maken babies with all the other cats... sometimes when i scare him off a neighbor will stop me and say its her cat ... shes got a missing leg and shes pretty hot so i try to stay on her good side lol ! but the day that cat decides to step foot on my titan its DEAD.. microwave :) haha

This is what I'd do to a chronic offender. :thedevil:

A non-lethal way that sometimes works with dogs digging up holes in a specific area, and might work in this situation if you could catch the cat would be to douse the sucker with a bottle of white vinegar, then pour some vinegar around your truck every so often. After taking a vinegar bath that cat is probably not going to want to go anywhere near the vinegar smell. Then again if you hate the smell of vinegar.......

you need to talk to your neighbor and tell them to control their cats or you will have them taken care of (animal control). I had a neighbor who let their cats run and they were a step from ferril, I threatened the animal control thing and low and behold the cats left!

if that doesnt work try antifreeze :smoke:

If it is an uncastrated male cat, which it probably is, grab the cat and stick him head first into a rubber boot. Then grab a set of Burdizzos and clamp them at the base of the scrotum and squeeze hard. He will scream a little, but will never come back.
These are the ones I use on cattle and sheep, but they come in all sizes.

Catch the pieces of crap and drive them 20 miles away and leave them there.
If they return then I'd finish the job. Your neighbor should be responsible for any and all damages since they let their animals run loose.

I'd have capped the bastard by now strays in my neighborhood are ridiculous from a former neighbor who fed a few... they multiplied the neighbors left cats stayed and are very comfortable. I can usually tolerate them until they get under my house or in the garage. Paw prints on my truck are what would set me off I've seen none yet.

Daisy powerline is what I use. Gammo even makes a pellet now with a copper BB in the head and they work awesome! :gunz:

maybe talk to the neighbor about getting the cat spayed? Don't some vets do it free or very cheap so there isn't an issue of strays?

Ammonia works on cats, skunks, and racoons. They hate the stuff. I'm sure you can find creative ways to apply it in the areas that you do not want visited...

If you see the fu(ker spray him with a spray bottle or preferably, a super soaker. He won't be back.

My Chinese neighbor told me they taste just like chicken. Should I ask for a recipe and post it for you?

Before I purchased my house and lived in an apartment I had this cat keep coming to my patio door because it knew I had cats in there. I just waited for it to come back one night and blasted the **** out of it with about 20 paintballs or so and it never came back. Seven shot burst and high tension spring will do that though:gunz:

Had the same problem as you. Some skank in the hood didn't care about her neighbors. Even would climb my wood privacy fence and get in my backyard and launch itself against the screen porch when my cats were outside on their own porch, in a fenced back yard, minding their own business. Always let my dog out and it would tree it and keep it up there all day till I made him come in for the night.
Went to Lowes, got a racoon/cat/squirrell trap. Looks like a rectangular heavy wire deal. Put a can of cat food in it. Left it infront of my truck. Took a few nights but eventually cat was caught. Called animal control. They came and got it. If cat has tags, owner has to pay to get it back. If not....oh well.
Also called the animal control on a neighbor down the street who had a cat that would act like it wanted to attack you when you walked by. Not just it's house, anywhere it roamed. Animal control sends out a letter and then starts fining. Got a few other neighbors to call also. Don't see the cat anymore.
You may want to put the trap near your front door if your car is in a apartment parking lot.
