Does anyone know if you can use the Wade in-channel vent visors with the tow mirrors?

Re: Where is the best place to buy these? I was pulling out of my driveway

Down an inch or two? Or down all the way?

All the way. It wouldn't have mattered though because from

what I saw it came right off of the door frame so if the window was down an inch it would have still got in. I was making a right turn out of my driveway on a slight downhill (regular neighborhood driveway) slope. Besides, those visors look cool.:hat:

Sorry. I thought you had the visors and this STILL happened! You NEED these Dude! (Or some other brand of your choosing.) I had the chromed steel ones from Autoventshade on my F150. Loved them too. I usually let the windows down 1/2" when it's broiling hot in the summer. Even if we got a passing thunderboomer, nothing ever got inside. Plus the few times I locked my keys in the truck, that 1/2" gap allowed me to get the coat hanger in.... :ftard:

I just got mine a few weeks ago...they work fine. But does anyone know why they sqweek???? I've tried messin around with them, but it never fails after I roll the window down then back up...they sqweek for about 5 mins. :eh:

mine dont squeak...the only thing is with my auto windows (I dunno if anyone else has this prob) when I auto up at the very end of the travel I guess it senses the visors and throw the window back down about 2 inches...

I dont think its the auto but the module I put in for the auto close (with 2 clicks of the clicker) it said it came with a safety that would sense something in the way and not let it go up (like if ur arm was caught I guess or something) really like the way these things look so might take a try and takin out the module and seeing if it changes anything...

What holds them in place? Any advantage with these over the regular ones that just stick along the outside of the window?

they are held in place by 3M adhesive strips,
please take notice of cars and trucks on the road, when you see/compare the ones stuck on outside the window (stuck to your paint, mind you) they are crap and now matter how good the glue is sticking them to your paint there is no way they can provide as good protection as in-channels.

Did you get the 4-Piece Smoke Slim Windguards ?
Do they fit on the King Cab, on the selection it does not specify Double Cab or King Cab, it just says "2004-06 Titan W69498"

How does it attach to the back door glass since that does not open ?

Well, unfortunately the 4 piece window visors, in-channel or slim, will fit the front windows in both KC and CC, but the rear window visor is made to fit only the CC, I'm sure you can cut the rear visors shorter to cover just the (non-opening) KC rear door windows (for looks). I have a CC so I had no problems with mine, I'd recommend the in-channel visors and just not install the rear. (or the slim visors and cut the rears down to fit)

autoaccessories4less.com good deal/fast shipping
I order a set from this site and after placing the order the email confirmation stated it would take 1-2 weeks before shipping. I was like... okay... I'll give it a few days. Well... its been over a week and still nothing. I called them up and said forget about it. Thats ridiculous. You all must have cleaned them out! lol.

Anyways.. I'm looking elsewhere. Hopefully, those will ship within a couple days.

for those of you with the inchannel visors, does it scratch your tint at all? i heard of some people getting their tint all scratched up with the in channel visors. just wondering.

No scratching on mine... the contact between glass and visor should be on outside of window... If the tint was done properly (inside) you should have no rough friction against the inside of your window, just against the rubberized seal...

Do these limit the amount of wind that gets into the cab with the window down? I just got my Titan and when I am cruising with the windows down I can barely hear the radio because of the wind coming in. When the front windows are down and the sunroof is open I might as well turn the radio off. Is the purpose of the vent visor to deflect the wind or to deflect the water from the roof and rain? Also does the visor for the sunroof help? I never knew if it was effective or just an accessory.

^^^ I have found that they have been of four uses so far... 1) They look good... 2) They help keep the dusting down on the windows, dust settles at bottom 1/4 of windows... 3) They are effective to allow "cracking" my window while in motion during inclimate weather, mostly rain... 4) I leave the windows cracked during these 100 degree plus days which allows the heat to flow out of the cab while it is parked.
The noise factor while in motion isn't too bad if the window is above the bottom of the visor, but whenever any windows are open, no matter what, you're gonna get wind noise anyways.
