Has anyone bought a DU-HA (down-underseat-holding apparatus) for their back seat?

Do they fit nicely? Stay put? Or do you have to somehow mount it to the floor?

Any thoughts?

Mine came factory installed. Never moves. Super convenient. Never really looked to see if it was attached somehow, but it probably is.

Are you talking about the underseat storage bin that is an option from the factory? If so, then yes it is connected on both ends to the back seat's frame. On my truck it is very stable and doesn't make a sound when going down the road; can't say the same about the front passanger foot well :bang:

I've got it in my CrewCab, fits real good, does what it should. I didn't realize how big it was when I first heard of it, it is a good design. It lifts up easy to clean the carpet. 2 Screws hold it in place. 10 minute install.

I've been thinking of selling mine to make room for a Sub. I 've got a storage box and tool boxes in the bed, so I've got too much storage space now.

If you're interested, PM me. I could get it to you easy during a CCT meet. Even mount it for you. Only about 2-3 months old, like new. $80 negotiable.

UPDATE: As suggested by baseballfanz, TitanSue (female type, not a he) is looking for the aftermarket item which is similiar to the Nissan OEM UnderSeat storage unit. My OEM unit list for about 140, I paid 110. The Du-ha list for about 180. Very nice unit too.

I am in construction. I just fold up the seats and put two 18 gallon plastic containers i bought from walmart for 3.99 each. Holds all my tools with room to spare. Takes 5 seconds to take them out if people are going to sit in the back or if I put them in the garage for the weekend.

I'm interested! Is it the darker one??

I don't know the official color, but it is a fairly dark gray that goes with my Steel Gray interior and grayish floor very well. I doubt they make a darker unit, just a lighter one. I likely have what you want. PM sent a few minutes ago, then saw your latest post. Thanks.

They're yours when you see it and say the word.

Hi Sue; :hi: I bought the Du Ha for my KC SE. It works well, doesn't require any screws or drilling to mount. It has straps that fasten it to the seat belt connections and it's quiet. The items I store that might roll around or make noise, I simply wrapped in an old towel. Mine is color matched to my graphite interior. The only negative I have is the price. I thought $180 was way high for it. The Nissan underseat storage is less expensive, but it's also smaller. If I could have bought a used one for < $80, that's the route I would have gone.

Good luck with whichever one you choose.
