Ok so yesterday I installed a 1.5" spacer on my stock 08 4x4, which both PRG and everyone on here said was the highest I should go being stock. Well I had MAJOR CBC and the front was higher than the rear. So I pulled them off and measured the "stock" heights at the top of the wheel well from the street. Here is what I got:
RF=37 1/4" LF=37"
RR=38 5/8" LR= 38.5"

#1 Why so much difference all the way around? (All tires were the same inflation)
#2 WHy didn't the 1.5" spacer work?

Dannnng 85.5 on left rear?? :rofl:
Not sure about contact with 1.5" level. I had 2" level and on had contact with speed bumps, big pot holes, and mud'n.
As for the height difference, they are all like that. The truck has different weight around, say for instance, if u have a full tank, it's not going to bring all fenders down, but only driver rear

Oops. I meant 38.5" LR lol.

yeah I get that but I don't know why the 1.5 didnt work. My UCA was sitting on the Bucket lip on the left side but not on the right.

Sorry you had troubles.

I am not familiar with the 08, but unfortunately, all Titans are a little different. If you look through various lift/leveling threads, different people had different results with the same product. I wish it was easier to explain, but I am still a little confused as to why some T's are different.

As far at the left and right being different, there are threads on that as well. It was once known only as the Titan Lean. There are many theories as to why it exists.

I had a 1.5'' spacer on mine and had some minor CBC. I fixed it with a ProComp Stage 2 6'' lift ;)

How long did you leave the kit on? Just wondering if it had time to settle if you took it off right away. I emeber when i installed my leveling kit the front was higher but about 3 days later it lowered a bit

Surprised you have major contact, I way to fix it is to look where the contact is happening, and grind the lip down, sometimes even 1/8 makes a huge difference.

I took them right off after driving around the block. They measure 1.5". I took a dremel to it but maybe not enough. The other thing that bugs me is the front was 1/5" taller than the rear. That part i could probably get used to except when i towy boat it would really squat. I sent Greg at prg an email to get his thoughts so hopefully he'll see it and reply soon.

If it measures 1.5" that's the problem. That's actually a 2" or 2.5" level. :( Levels are rated on what they will lift the truck, not the actual width of the spacer. I have a PRG 1.5", if u wanna give it a shot

If that's what i need then i'd love to get it. How much?

Goree is right, you have the wrong spacer, a spacer that gives 1.5" of lift actually measures about .8", the reason why you have major contact is the spacer is a 2.5" spacer. A 2" spacer would measure about 1.25"

That is why I asked the thickness. Easy mistake to make and easy fix. Before you get the other spacer you might want to consider replacing the struts with 5100's instead. Not that much more money and the ride will be better. You already have 08 springs and if you put it in the middle setting you are going to gain about 2" of lift. You can try and sell the spacers you have to recoup some money.
