I got a question, on my 08 titan pro 4x . One thing that bugs me is that when you hit the windshield washers, the wipers dont automatically come on, its like your window is all wet with washer fluid and you have to manually turn the wipers on, this is the first vehicle i ever owned that did this, does anyone else have this problem or is it just with my truck? thanks

Hmmmm... Sounds like a faulty stalk, maybe. When I pull the stalk towards me, it squirts fluid on the windshield and the wipers automatically come on to wipe it away. They make 3 or 4 passes and reseat themselves on the perch. Up is quick one swipe, down makes them stay on, and towards you is the fluid/wipe. I take it this isn't how yours works?

Sounds like something is wrong.. I don't think Nissan is blazing the trail with manual wipers. Mine works as BB described, so I would take it to the dealer.

They should. You should have that checked at the dealer. That's not right if they don't wipe automatically.

Bring it back to the dealer...My 08 wipes when I squirt the fluid.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^That sounds great...

My 08 will not wipe if I give it just a little squirt but If I hold it in to coat the window then they come on. I'm just a conservative bastard when it comes to fluid... hehehe

yea i hear ya anmut... im the same way, it dont take long to go through a gal of it... ill try holding it on tonight and see if they come on.. i know my other vehicles if i just bumb the squirter they come right on and go back and forth a couple times...
Just one more thing that's great about owning a truck. When I drive behind most people with the wife's accord I get all sorts of fun snow spray on the window making you go through a gallon a week of wiper fluid.

With a truck you sit high enough that most of that catches your grill instead of the window.

Hey, we all learn new stuff every day... I don't know how long I looked for the button to turn on/off the rear cargo light until I found it.... :bangit:

I LOVE the way this function works. I'm also a conservative bastard, well, not really, it just pisses me off to no end though, how in some vehicles, you squirt the pisser, and it wipes it off on the first wipe, then continues freaking wiping another 3 or 4 times an a dry windshield!!! WTF??? At least with this setup, you can give it a quick blip, then one wipe, 'cause that's all that's really frickin' needed!!
