Food for the Meet in Rockingham, NC

Details on food for the Meet will be answered on Wednesday, 5/13.

What we will need:

1. Shade tents
2. Extra chairs
3. Desserts

After the tasty dessert at the Columbia SC meet, I think you should bring the dessert Kronos!:hungry:

I might have a chair or two to contribute. I am fresh out of shade tents at the moment though.

I'm gonna pick up a shade tent, as I'm gonna be needing one for the wedding. I might as well give it a test run at the Rock

He says he's bringing either a 10x10 or 12x12.... whichever he can pick up.

Whatever chair/tent/grille/hibachi/funhouse/detailing supplies the airlines will allow you as carry-on.... :rofl:

I can bring 2 chairs and have access to a 10x10 shade tent..

let me know!

also, I have a larger cooler and a small cooler...

The chairs and tent would be good. I want to anticipate it either being a hot day on the asphalt or manage the situation in which there's a brief shower...

I've got four coolers and will bring them with ice so thank you for the offer-it's easier for me to bring them...

ok, I'll reserve the tent!

I may opt to bring a small cooler for jager supplies

I say we put all these 10X10's together and turn them into a fest tent.

BBQ Pork and Chicken
Coleslaw
Potato Salad
Hush Puppies (not to be confused with the shoes)
Sweet Tea

Along with whatever desserts that are brought...

I will have coolers with water and ice, plates/napkins/cups/flatware.

IF others want to bring alcohol, it needs to be poured into cups. Glass and dragstrips do not match.)

If we have vegetarians, let me know and we will come up with something else for them.

Count us in for some folding chairs... and some kind of dessert, probably homemade chocolate chip cookies. Unless anyone is allergic to chocolate??

I can bring three fold up chairs and my ice cooler for storage of beverages. We can have cans I assume, if it is beer, do we have to cover the can with a koozie or is open alcoholic beverages allowed without disguising? specifically beer in cans.
